My grandfather had this camera. He bought it in Hong Kong in 1974.It is the Asian model, that is why it's called the X1 and not the XK (American model), but they are the same thing and they were all manufactured in Japan (as far as i know). They each have their own leather protector, and the Camera itself has its own leather protective case. And it's all inside a leather bag. Camera was bought in 1974 and that was the new model for this type of camera which came out in 1973 if i'm not mistaken.
As far as i can tell the camera works fine, and I don't think it needs any repairs. I don't really know how you measure a camera's efficiency or whatever... Feel free to ask questions.
